This course is aimed at inexperienced beginners in music production or at users of other programs who want to get to know Ableton Live. Ableton Live is modern software that contains some unique features and functions and offers a time-saving workflow.
In the course of the lessons in the first half of the course, the user interface is explored, important settings are explained and made and the different concepts of arrangement and session mode are highlighted. The participants quickly become experts in the software and do not have to bring anything (apart from a suitable computer) to the course to record and edit audio and MIDI data.
In der zweiten Hälfte wird es kreativ: Die Teilnehmer probieren das neu erworbene Wissen an einem Beispielprojekt aus, einerseits zur Kontrolle, andererseits aber auch, um mit eigenen Ideen auf den gelernten Techniken aufzusetzen. Das Speichern, Verwalten und Exportieren von Projekten rundet den Kurs ab.
Der Kurs ist in ca. 3 bis 5 Stunden zu bewältigen, je nachdem, wie viel Zeit für die praktischen Aufgaben aufgewendet wird. Am Ende der Lektionen haben die Teilnehmer gute Kenntnisse der wichtigsten Funktionen von Ableton Live und können auf diesem Wissen aufbauen!
